Here are two recent, exciting examples of organizations that are Seeing Red Cars:

Service organization: A 2011 strategic priority is for all employees to "take the wheel." Seeing Red Cars books were purchased and employees will complete the step-by-step toolkit in the book to guide their daily actions. In monthly meetings with leaders, employees will lead the Seeing Red Cars conversations, thus "taking the wheel" to drive their individual success. The organization will share weekly Seeing Red Cars success stories and strategies on its private company Facebook page.

Technology company: Seeing Red Cars books were purchased for the entire sales team. The company will share its strategic priorities at a kickoff event and then all employees will complete the toolkit. To connect individual "I wants" with the company's values and strategic priorities, the sales reps will use the toolkit and the Action Traction tool to guide their weekly meetings with company leaders. Success stories will be shared throughout the year through the company's intranet.

Reversing the depressed economy, creating job growth and achieving organizational success will require individuals to "take the wheel" and drive with intention toward their personal and professional "I wants." The organizations that will survive and thrive are the ones that instill a positive-outcomes mindset in the workplace. It has been a tough couple of years. Turning things around is a necessity – not an option! Seeing Red Cars can help you engage and inspire your team to create a positive future.
